Interactive Learning Center

This public research interface provides a gateway to a world of American Indian online resources.Visitors to the National Museum of the American Indian may explore topics, resources and activities on 18 multimedia stations within the museum’s Interactive Learning Center. Visitors are also able to explore maps of the museum, listen to a selection of Native music, and even send electronic postcards based on objects in the museum’s collection. Behind the scenes, a browser-based administrative backend allows museum staff to curate and organize the content presented to the public, and to orchestrate the control of the underlying database.
