Museum of Mexican History, Monterrey

OVERVIEW

The Museum of the Mexican History (Museo de Historia Mexican) is located in Monterrey, the capital of Nuevo León, and is the most important historical museums in the north of Mexico. The museum presents Mexico’s complex history starting with its ecological and biological diversity. From there, different aspects of life in Mexico from pre-Hispanic times to the 20th century are presented through an extensive permanent collection and temporary exhibitions.

The permanent collection galleries have a strong didactic approach, with objects mixed in with large-scale models and interactive media kiosks that complement the physical displays.
